Alicia A. Parrott of Miami, Florida passed away April 10, 1999. She was born November 25, 1967, in Miami, Florida to Estella Parrott. Alicia attended Earlington Heights, Scott Lake and Bunche Park Elementary Schools. She graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High in 1987.
Alicia was baptized at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church on November 5, 1980 by the Reverend Charles E. Coleman. She continued her work in the church in spite if the devastating illness which finally snuffed out her short life.
She leaves to remember her with much love: Her mother Estella A. Parrott; her grandmother, Mrs. Ruby E. Parrott’ her brother, Arick A. Parrott; Aunts: Larida Hamilton, Anna E. Jackson; an uncle, Jimmie (debbie) Parrott; great aunts, Shadie Mae, Luewee and Omega of Dublin, Georgia.
In addition, Alicia leaves a host of cousins who rallied around her as she grew up during her illness.
Alicia’s mantra throughout her short life was: “A hundred years from now it will not matter the sort of house I lived in, what my bank account was or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child,”
