Michael Craige Reed was born July 1, 1958 to the parents of Nathaniel Reed and Dorothea Spikes Reed. He was called home early January of 2017.

He is survived by his wife Surfield Reed, children: Jacob Michael Reed and Miranda Reed, two brothers: Kenneth Reed and Norman Reed, five sisters: Diane, Joselyn, Joanne, Lucille and Shelia; cousin Arthur Reed and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him very much.
