Retired Army SFC Norman Spikes, 66, departed this life on April 10, 2016. Funeral services were held on Monday April 18, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the St. Paul Full Gospel Church. Burial followed at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: wife, Linda Spikes; sons, Ernest Spikes, Roderick Middleton and Andre Middleton; daughters, Crystal Middleton, Jamaya Spikes and Edilma Spikes; brothers, Kenneth Reed and Michael Reed; sisters, Diane McNeill, Joanne Smith, Shelia Reed, Jocelyn Reed and Lucille Hill; two grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
