A Time to be Born… Thomas Edmond was born February 8, 1945 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Oliver and Willie Bell Edmond. He was one of eleven children.
A Time to Accept Christ … Thomas was baptized in 1987 under the leadership of Pastor Robert D. Walker Sr. at the Obedient M.B. Church in Detroit, MI.
A Time for Life … In 1980 Thomas married the love of his life, the mother of his daughter, Ethel Beckem. Thomas had so much love for people, his family and he loved fishing also.
A Time for Love … Thomas and his family moved to Chesapeake, Virginia where they attended the Greater Mt. Zion M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Taylor. The family was in route to Hawaii but Thomas became too sick to travel. So he and his family remained in Tutwiler, MS where he had love and care til the end.
A Time to Rest … Thomas departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 3:00 PM, in Tutwiler, MS>
A Time for Memories… Thomas was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Mae Guyton and three brothers, J.D., J.B., and Robert Edmond. Thomas leaves to cherish his memories to a loving and caring wife, Ethel Edmond (Tutwiler, MS) three daughters, Tisonia (Shawn) Kaigler (Tutwiler, MS) Tia Beckem (Minneapolis, MN) Thomascy Edmond (Detrioit, MI) two sons Willie Earl Beckem (Norfolk, VA) Tyrone (Shawnett Beckem) Denver, CO; two God children, six sisters, Rosie Harris, Marie Thomas, Dorothy (Toabe) Stephen, all of Dublin, GA Ella Mae Hollimon, Eather Edmond, Anna Bell Story all of Kissimmee, FL, one brother Oliver (Kizzie) Edmond Jr. Detroit, MI. Three brother-in-laws, five sister-in-laws, two adopted sisters through love in Christ two nephews, whom he thinks as brothers, two special friends, eighteen gran and one great grandson, a host of family and friends.
